Acts 20:24 King James Version (KJV)
But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
In this verse the author of the Book of Acts says he has received of the Lord Jesus the ministry to testify of the grace of God. My prayer is that those who visit my little corner of the internet are ministered to by the grace of God that I have received from my Lord Jesus Christ our Messiah.
All who stop by here are welcome who come desiring Him in truth and righteousness. I hope to always point the way to Him, after all, He is the only way, truth, and life to our heavenly Father:
John 14:6 (KJV) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
On the practical side I am a graduate of Trinity Bible College, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Trinity Bible College was housed in an Assembly of God facility but Brother “D” always said he was more of a Pentecostal. The founder and administrator of the school was our beloved Brother “D”, aka, Reverend Charles Duncombe. Trinity was the sister school to Christ For The Nations in Dallas, TX, which was founded by the late Gordon Lindsey who was also great friends with Brother “D”.
After graduating from Trinity Bible College in 1974, I attended Tulsa Junior College. With a strong desire to help my fellow man I tried my hand at a major in Social Studies graduating instead with an M.R.S. (Mrs.) degree. And yes, I got married while attending Tulsa Junior College. My husband was a Research Scientist who is a Muslim from Libya.
I spent one year living in Libya where our second son was born. Libyan strongman, Muammar Qaddafi would not allow us to leave with our son so we had to smuggle him out of the country.
After we divorced I attended Collin County Community College where I studied English in 1992 and 1993.
I am also the author of A Way In The Wilderness And Streams In The Desert which is the book based on the true story of how I smuggled my son out of Libya in 1979.
I am also an award winning poet of the poem Wintr’y Mornin’.
One could say I graduated with honors and a doctorate degree from “The School of Hard Knocks, University of Learn Your Lessons Well” which means I learned my lessons the hard way and have much to share with those in need of an education… you can call me “Dr. Tried In the Fire”.
These days I spend my time trying to help other’s find their way through the Wilderness of life and find their Streams of provision in the Desert of their trials.
I welcome your prayer requests which you can email to me at firstname.lastname@example.org or by way of leaving a comment at the bottom of my home page where intercessors from around the world will see it and join in praying for your needs.
